I am an experienced graduate teacher with twenty one years experience in the teaching specializing in Mathematics. I am an ambitious, organized and highly motivated individual who is goal driven and aims at building long term solutions.
My ability to develop personal and organizational goals, skills and knowledge is demonstrated by coordinating officers in curriculum implementation at the Ministry and the entire country. I am a Senior Assistant Director Quality Assurance and Standards in the Ministry of Education and currently in charge of Mathematics subject.
As a senior quality assurance officer my role involves deciding on staffing needs, recruitment and training, ensuring high performance and ensuring that personnel and management practices conform to various regulations. I represent the ministry in Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development and at Kenya National Examination council.
I hold a Masters degree from Egerton University in Mathematics curriculum, a Post graduate Diploma in Gender poverty and development also from Egerton University; a Post graduate Diploma from Dublin University in Ireland on African Leadership in Information Communication Technology and a Bachelors degree from Nairobi University in Science Education.
I was a judge in Mathematics for Kenya Science and Engineering Fare for many years and currently I am a coordinator of Judges in the Kenya Science and Engineering Fare.
