There are not many initiatives that target the conversation of scientific research into successful commercialization at the students level. Most end at the exhibition level and do not provide the young people with opportunities for commercialization. YSK would like to select successful projects and conduct a business boot camp for eligible projects. The projects showcased are potential small micro-enterprises which could grow to large scale industries to provide employment to the young people in the country. This is the pathway of growth that is envisaged at the end of the business boot camp.

The purpose of this programme is to encourage further innovation by our young scientists and provide them with commercialisation skills to carry forward into their careers and lives.
