The 2025 Winners STEM Bootcamp is HERE!

After a long hiatus, Coast Tunasija! sets the tone for this exciting edition, as it marks the first time the bootcamp will be held in the Coast region, promising an exciting and enriching learning experience, from 7 - 11 April 2025 at the Mabati Technical Training Institute in Mariakani Mombasa.

About the Bootcamp

YSK’s annual Winners’ STEM Bootcamp, established in 2018, is designed to propel outstanding innovations into the market. The program connects young scientists with companies for internships, exposure, and mentorship in STEM, ensuring their projects gain practical relevance. Each year, 46 winners are selected from over 1,000 participants in the YSK National Science and Technology Exhibition, where 23 exceptional projects receive awards.

The 2025 YSK Business Bootcamp will provide:

• A platform to explore ways to advance their innovation.
• Interaction with industry professionals to explore commercialization opportunities.
• Capacity-building sessions for teachers on integrating research and innovation into teaching.
• Site visits and excursions courtesy of Mabati Rolling Mills, Mombasa Cement, Umoja Shoe Company, Mzuri Sweets and SEACOM.
